MISS TERESA’S CLASS

Welcome Back to all our families.  Hope you’ve enjoyed your family time together during this glorious season.  Well, Spring has officially sprung!  Here at Team Preschool we will explore this exciting time of year and discover the many changes taking place around us.  We will have fun doing things like mixing colors, making flowers and bugs, growing seeds and reading about things like tadpoles changing into frogs and caterpillars changing into butterflies.  We will even raise our own caterpillars and learn first hand about metamorphosis as they change into painted lady butterflies.

In April we will complete our year long adventure learning weekly ABC’s and we will continue writing our names.  There will also be time to practice our cutting skills and to review that many, many concepts we have learned this school year.  YPP April color is YELLOW.

I will continue assessments with your children in April to be prepared for Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Miss Teresa’s class conferences are scheduled for the week of May 11th 15th.  Please check for a sign-up sheet on the classroom door.

Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of being your child’s teacher.

God Bless - Miss Teresa

MISS BECKY’S CLASS

I hope everyone had a great Easter Vacation!  We had nice parties. Thank you to everyone who brought treats!

April will be a quick month.  We will be practicing our name writing and learning our “BIG” letters in the morning classes.  During the afternoon we will continue learning the last part of the alphabet and practicing our first and last names (Have you noticed that everyone can write their own names on their papers?!!) We will also be doing assessments for the afternoon class.  Conferences for the afternoon class will be May 4th – 8th.

This month we will be learning all about Spring and life cycles of plants and animals.  Check out our science table for new exhibits.  We will also be planting seeds of our own.

Yellow days will be on April 23rd and 24th.

Happy Spring everyone! - Miss Becky

MISS RACHEL’S CLASS

Welcome Back Everyone!  Now that it is officially Spring, we will enjoy learning about this wonderful season by learning how things grow and doing some planting ourselves.  We are also going to learn about baby animals and where they live.  For the month of April we will be keeping some of our projects to decorate our room for Open House.

We will continue to review all areas of Academic Skills.  All the children are doing a great job.  I am so proud of them.

We will be having conferences this Month, I am looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s progress.  Sign-ups are on the door.

Hope you had a Happy Easter!  As we all rejoice in knowing,

that HE Has Risen - Miss Rachel
